I've always been a nostalgia lover. Even as a child I remember the excitement when my Granny got out the old tin of photo's. The pictures I'd seen time and time before, but that never got old. The tales of where they were taken, which family member was who, guessing the baby in the picture for the umpteenth time.

These days, for me, a cup of tea, who am i kidding - a glass of wine and flicking through an old photo album is just everything. Even when visiting friends in a home scattered with picture frames, I'm immersed .

I've been described as 'too empathetic', but when it comes to photography I'll take that!

My true love affair with photography began when i became a Mother. I wanted to capture, hold on too and save the feelings, all at once. Not just of the milestones but of the everyday. The extraordinary in the ordinary.  To now do this for others is simply an honour, one that will never ever tire.
